SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) – You’ve probably had folks from out of town ask puzzled questions when you try to give them Utah addresses as East, West, North, and South in what we know to be a logical grid.
Well, if it is confusing now, just try to understand the naming system about a century ago. In 1916, what we know as 14th South became 33rd South and Martin Street became 13th South.
